Our UPV Foundation Week Experience was a blast. It's filled with snores and morning glories. We had limited time to really enjoy the spirit of merrymaking mainly because of our hectic schedules. Firstly, classes were ongoing while others were having the time of their lives. Second, we had lots of dorm activities. Most, if not all, of the activities were held in Miag-ao which is very tiring, quite expensive and inconvenient. Lastly, we're drained and having an allergic reaction to life. But we still have tomorrow to enjoy if given the chance.

On the other hand, the food from yesterday during the alumni night was spectacular. Everyone was dancing, singing, talking, running around and living the life. We also heard that the College of Management Play Festival was successful with very commendable performances from each of the batches showcasing excellent talents. As part of the Bluechips family, we cannot deny the pride and joy we felt for the victory that our batch has achieved. We can never fully thank our batchmates with just words for their active participation in the event including the actors and actresses, propsmen and everyone behind the whole production. The entire one-week experience was made even more special.

Amazing...

What amazes me? It is love. Love is a universal feeling. As a kid, we have known it as the ground for the greatest fairytale stories ever written. It knows no boundaries, no religion, no race. It amazes me how it alone can change one’s perception of things, how it can unleash the beautiful swan within every woman or the warrior in every man, or change even the world. I marvel at the fact that love alone is enough for a parent to sacrifice everything for the sake of family, that love alone is enough for one to lend a listening ear and a shoulder to a friend in good and bad times, that it is a drive powerful enough for Martin Luther King to fight for the rights of his people, that it is the sole reason why the heroes of all nations risked their lives for their country and that it is the reason why God sent his only son Jesus to save the world. Seeing it in a biological perspective, how nice it is to think how love goes far in a relationship from just starting on the twitching of nerve cells and simple chemical reactions in the brain. Love has no ability to speak but it can change the noblest intentions into the most evil deed, in a sudden snap it can make people turn their back from what is right just to worship its name. But I know one thing: whether it is parental, nationalistic, or romantic, love itself is a spectrum of colors. It is difficult to explain in a single point. Love is a wonder and an amazing feeling to behold for in its very naïve nature, it was able to feed our survival, paint color and transcend its own glow in every dark corner of this changing world.
